A cryptic looking lake on my way to Mt. Rainier. There were hundreds of trees that were cut down. It was pretty foggy that day.

Its a man-made lake and its there because of the dam that helps provide power to the city of Tacoma...its not pure idiocy.

That may be so but it's called Cryptic lake for it's mysterious look it conveys not because of the clear cutting.
